The stupidity and selfishness of those running the school district is reflected by the poor outcome of their “educational” efforts. The leadership (that’s really an abuse of that word, as they are not leaders) is so far past abysmal that I am at a loss for adjectives to describe them. The fact of the matter is, though, that the children being sent for babysitting to the school district for 12-15 years aren’t even being safely and properly babysat. The children are truly not even in their sights; those running the asylum are, as you clearly note, oblivious to their obligations to the children and to the taxpayers of this City, and are all about making themselves feel good—& nothing more.
Maybe they believed that Twitter isn’t relevant to their operations and it was an opportunity to drop the effort required to produce content and at the same time “virtue signal” as you point out. Keep up the press!!!
