New Rochelle School Board Held Secret Sessions to Stop Robert Cox and the Nefarious Talk of the Sound — in 2008

Among other efforts, lawyers for the District contacted by web hosting provider at the time and threatened to file a lawsuit against the company if they did not remove my website. They refused and threatened to file a countersuit. The lawyers backed off.
Personal insults by board members, union leadership and administrators were popular.
It was then-Superintendent of Schools Richard Organisciak who popularized the phrase “Consider the Source” as a way to derisively, sarcastically, dismiss to the board and the public my (entirely accurate) reporting on corruption and incompetence in the District. I adopted it as the site’s tag line. Today, we are the source everyone considers.
Harassing my wife and children (for years) to get at me was another favorite, actively derailing her career as a special educator in New Rochelle. They sent Child Protective Services to my house after one of my children stayed home from school for one day!
Total amoral pigs, all of them.
My favorite though is a secret board meeting where a presentation was made by the Director of Information Technology.
